DOI: This system where the step-up converter is implemented by an isolated Zeta converter. In this case, the ZETA converter has two functions: To provide electrical isolation and synthesize a rectified sinusoidal current waveform similar to the power grid. This paper presents a dynamic modeling study for a ZETA converter working in discontinuous conduction mode DCM applied to low power renewable energy sources using the generalized switch averaging technique.

ETDE Web. Current multilevel dc-dc converters. Full Record Miscellaneous:. Abstract This paper shows that using a recent introduced generic paralleling structure for commutation cells one can get multiple levels of total current for dc-dc converters.

This opens a new research field in power electronics area, which the paper names current multilevel converters. This new approach has been applied to a level buck converter along with theoretical, simulated and experimental results. The application of the new concept is extended to the remainder of the dc-dc converters following a brief discussion of particularities.

As can be attained for the voltage multilevel converters the new current multilevel dc-dc converters can be adapted to produce small harmonics content and total current sharing among the employed communication cells.
